Raising awareness amongst churches and Christian groups is a key priority for UPA. We still have a huge heart to increase the Connectivity of churches to initiatives in the city.
UPA has and still does this in a number of different ways including:
- City Tours – Taking groups out to visit projects at the time when the church group meets. See Diagram.
- In house engagement – We can hold a discussion where we will interact with each specific group and discuss how that Group can increase its Connectivity towards initiatives in the city.
- Do a 7/8 minute presentation in a church service over viewing activities in the city.
- Doing the main talk on a Sunday focusing on God’s heart to tackle poverty in Leeds.
